Kolkata: Test Identification parade of the three arrested persons in connection with Shibpur housewife Soni Rajak murder case will be conducted on Monday.Police are still searching for the mutilated body parts of Soni. Sleuths will reconstruct the murder scene after the accused persons are remanded to police custody. According to sources, When Soni’s husband Upendra was shown the picture of her severed head, he allegedly denied to identify it at the Shibpur police station. Meanwhile, in multiple CCTV camera footage, it was found that three persons were carrying similar bags in a taxi and a cycle rickshaw. Immediately, local sources were asked to identify the rickshaw puller and police traced the driver of the taxi through its registration number. Within a few hours both taxi driver and rickshaw puller were identified and brought to Bally police station. Both of them were shown the pictures of the trio carrying the bags and a picture of Upendra. Seeing his picture the taxi driver and rickshaw puller identified Upendra. Later during interrogation he admitted the crime and stated that he killed his wife over doubt that Soni had an extramarital relationship with some other person. After dumping Soni’s body, he returned home and acted as he if he was searching for her. He even lodged a missing diary at Shibpur police station and following that he along with his mother-in-law started searching for Soni. According to sources, after the TI parade is over, the trio will be taken in to custody and would be taken to Upendra’s home in order to reconstruct the murder scene. Searches are still on to find the missing limbs of her body.
